The venue is situated at Park House Farm, Torpenhow on the North West edge of the Lake District.
The beautiful 19th century threshing barn is set in the middle of 300 acre ring fenced farm with access to woodlands and views of the Caldbeck Fells.
Easily accessible from the A595, it is centrally located for surrounding towns Cockermouth, Wigton, Keswick, Carlisle, Workington and Aspatria. The 25 acres of ancient woodland and the half mile long private road give a unique feeling of seclusion and privacy.
We have undertaken a great re-wilding of the family farm and there are plenty of places where you can see nature at it’s best.
We have donkeys and pygmy goats that can be there to see your guests if you wish, but can adapt the space to your needs.
If you’re looking for a natural feel for your day, getting down on the farm, and celebrating with a real rustic feel, we are your ideal location in the Cumbrian countryside.
We have farmland, meadows, woodland, and views over the fells, all of which change with the seasons and can provide a beautiful backdrop for your big day.
